This place has been here in Oak Cliff for decades.
It, for a dinner has really good coffee.
The omelet was huge and more that I could eat; exquisitely tasty. A real throw back to the OC dinning.
Good food
Good prices
And the waitress still call you honey!
Go, just go!
If your in the OC make it a morning event, you won't be disappointed! -

The best food we ate during our long weekend visiting Dallas! Norma's is a Dallas staple and it's easy to see why. Our AirBnB hosts recommended Norma's so we made it our first stop for breakfast. First impression: no frills diner with a strong locals-only vibe. With an impressive menu, I'm confident there's something for everyone. I ordered the Country Breakfast with chicken fried steak and my husband had the CBGB. Holy moly, it was something! Seating is open and folks will claim tables quickly. Oh, and don't even think of skipping the peach cobbler for dessert - it is to die for!
Pros: THE FOOD; service was attentive despite being extremely busy; tables turned over promptly; affordability.
Cons: Parking, we had to park on the street in the neighborhood and walk over. -

My boyfriend and I came here for brunch. Your typical diner dishes lots of food not necessarily healthy but you come here knowing what you're getting. I thought the pricing was fair and the service was good.

Norma's cafe is a must in Dallas. The food is great, the service is awesome. Management does a great job on helping out his servers/waiters/waitress.

When there is a 25 minute wait, you hope it's because good food is being served !
That was our case (1-1-19).
The wait was well worth it. There were six in our party and I think everyone got something different. From the mushroom Swiss burger, onion rings,chicken-fried chicken, scrambled eggs, chicken fried steak, green beans, cornbread, fresh garden salad , black eyed pea soup .........
All were very good
The serving sizes are large! You will not leave hungry!!
Our waitress was excellent!!!
Go give Norma's Cafe a try when in Dallas
